ORGANIZATION: CONTEMPORARY A CAPPELLA SOCIETY OF AMERICA

The Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LAAF) is looking for videographer volunteers to shoot video over the duration of the weekend festival. The 2025 Festival is Feb 14-16 in the El Segundo area. LAAF is put on by the 501c3 nonprofit Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA).

Responsibilities include:

  • Review shot list / video requirements with CASA Marketing Director ahead of festival weekend
  • Commit to capturing video at specific shifts of the weekend (Friday Showcase, Saturday Workshops, Saturday Pro Show, Sunday Competition)
  • Shoot video during the festival as committed! Comfortable with shooting vertical and horizontal content
  • Check in/Communicate with Marketing Director before/after shifts using shot checklist
  • Upload & organize content to a shared drive within 1 week after festival is complete

Videographers are expected to provide their own equipment, transportation, room and board, etc. LAAF will not provide any compensation and is not liable for the volunteer, but will provide an All-Access Pass to LAAF.

CASA will demonstrate leadership in innovating, developing, and expanding the a cappella community so that every singer, educator, and fan has the opportunity and means to share and spread their love of vocal music.
