Traditions Health Hospice is now recruiting Volunteers for companion visits in the Seminole, Chandler, Shawnee, Henryetta and Mcalester areas. Traditions Health Hospice a leader in the Hospice industry is looking for Volunteers to visit with Hospice Patients. Being a Companion Volunteer for hospice is a rewarding experience for not only the Hospice patient but also for the Volunteer. Our Hospice patients and their families are always blessed to have that extra one on one attention. This opportunity for anyone that feels they are being called to serve.

Companion Volunteer Duties:
Reading to the Hospice Patient
Listening or playing music
Pet Therapy (Must have Therapy Dog Certification)
Taking to an Activity
Going outside for walks and fresh air

Hospice care is about living! The Traditions Health hospice team walks with the patient and their loved ones throughout their end of life journey, providing the education and care they need for the best quality of life possible. A volunteer is a very important member of our hospice team whether they visit the patient, help the caregiver with errands or provide administrative support at the hospice office.
