Gammelgarden Museum is hosting a variety of activities during Vinterfest on January 25th, 2025. This is a family-fun, community event that will take place from 10-4. Come help us provide all sorts of fun winter activities such as a puzzle tournament, play-to-win board and card games, an historical fur trading exhibit, a Kubb tournament, a bonfire, and even more! There are lots of short shift options, some indoors and some outdoors. We will provide snacks and beverages for all volunteers, as well as some break time. We hope you will join us!

Mission Statement
Established in 1972 by Elim Lutheran Church to honor the Swedish immigrants who founded the community, Gammelgården Museum of Scandia today celebrates the story of all immigrants to their new land.
Description
Housed in six buildings on the historic gammelgården or old farm where the community of Scandia was first established, Gammelgården encourages visitors to explore their own journey. Through historical, educational, and cultural activities, Gammelgården invites visitors to step back in time and experience the stories of the immigrants as well as to discover new, contemporary bridges.
