ORGANIZATION: Kyle Hyland Foundation for Teen Support

If you are interested in inspiring, motivating, and impacting the young people in our community, then volunteering at the HylandTeen Center (HTC) is the place for you. HTC is a program of the Kyle Hyland Foundation for Teen Support (KHF) which provides charitable and educational support to youth. KHF is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The Hyland Teen Center is a place for ALL teens to hang out and enjoy themselves in a stress-free, creative and engaging environment. The teen center is open everyday after school and is open to all Benicia residents or Benicia Unified School District students Grades 8-12. Volunteers help supervise, sell snacks, and engage in activities with the teens such as arts & crafts, music or basketball.

Requirements:

All volunteers must be 20 years of age or older.

After submitting the application, a brief interview with the Executive Director, KHF Board Member or Staff, will be scheduled.

Applicants are initially asked to volunteer for two shifts at the teen center under the supervision of teen center staff. If a good fit, the volunteer would have LIveScan completed (at no cost to the volunteer).

All volunteers must be vaccinated for Covid-19.
