ORGANIZATION: FUR & FEATHER ANIMAL SANCTUARY

This volunteer role will be responsible for managing, helping to further develop and maintaining the Fur & Feather Animal Sanctuary (FFAS) website.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Update, remove and revamp areas that are currently identified for changes
  • Identifying ways we can improve the site for more optimized data entry and visibility
  • Visual and navigation improvements to the website
  • Wordpress plugin research and integration if needed
  • Potential for full revamp of site with proposal and need
  • Maintaining (with assistance of other volunteers) the database of newsletter sign up emails
  • Helping to train and direct volunteers on data entry with any changes to system
We’d love to have someone who has done this kind of role before and who can bring energy, enthusiasm, and engagement to the role. Please include any notes about previous experience you have had in these areas, or skills, knowledge and passions you think are relevant.

To protect the health and safety of animals by providing charitable assistance in our no-kill shelter for all animals. We will be the over-flow for all City and County shelters, while assisting traditional rescues with medical and foster programs. Bestow daily care, rehabilitate homeless, displaced, or injured animals; to find such animals’ good homes; and to educate the public as to how to bring about a time when the shelters are only empty cages and unwanted animals will never be destroyed needlessly.

FUR & FEATHER ANIMAL SANCTUARY a 501(c)(3) is organized exclusively for charitable, and educational purposes, more specifically for helping homeless and un-wanted animals with medical care, adoption in a no-kill safe environment, fight against animal cruelty, educate the public on the importance of spay/neuter, the basic care of animals, and the rehabilitation of wildlife.

We have only just begun and need your support - Our goal is to build the first fully solar powered 65 acre no-kill sanctuary in California to be the over-flow for the city and county shelters, while assisting traditional rescues with medical and a foster program.

We are currently fundraising to buy land and build homes where animals can live in healthy surroundings until they are adopted. This environment will protect and allow all animals to live to see their full potential~
