We are looking for a facilitator to lead a new dementia caregiver support group in Jefferson County, MO. Our goal is to create a group that would service both DeSoto and Hillsboro, MO. A connection to the disease is helpful but not necessary. You do not need to be a dementia care specialist to lead this group. If you have a passion for helping people, can facilitate meetings and lead a group, this is a great opportunity.
Meetings are once a month and last approximately 90 minutes.

Description
We are the primary community resource for Alzheimers disease and related disorders through family services, education, public policy and research. We serve 96 counties in Illinois and Missouri, Skilled volunteers join professional staff to participate at every level of service from office support to public speaking to leadership and more. The associations success and growth are due to the dedication nearly 1,000 volunteers, including students and interns.
