Description
At Ultimate Plus Hospice it is our ultimate goal to provide support to our patients and their families in every way possible, especially at the time in the lives of the patients that they are already in the last stages due to life-limiting illnesses. Hospice care does not mean that our clients are losing hope. It just means that life is still worth living, even if time is running short. We have a team of social workers, nurses, doctors, family members, and spiritual coordinators who work hand-in-hand to improve the quality of those under our care. Our volunteers are essential in the successful provision of quality care and support. All volunteers must undergo the necessary training required to be of exceptional service to patients and their families. As individuals who share in our cause, they consider the process both a rewarding and fulfilling experience. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated volunteers to work directly with our hospice patients and families in facilities or in patients' home to provide:
- Companionship at bedside
- Art, music, and pet therapy
- Quality time with patients
- Tuck-in calls to patients' families to check in and follow up.
- Office assistance
- Relief for families and caregivers
