Clark’s Ferry Recreation Area is a campground and day use area located along the Mississippi River. The area includes 45 campsites, shower building, vault restrooms, picnic shelter, boat ramp, fishing dock and two playgrounds. The volunteer custodial duties at Clark’s Ferry include cleaning the shower building, vault toilets and picnic shelter on scheduled days, cleaning fire rings weekly and as needed, picking up litter and brush/sticks from grounds, conducting daily water tests, interacting with the visiting public and other general cleaning and light maintenance duties. A campsite with amenities that include water, sewer and electric will be provided. The Volunteer selected for the position will work an average of 21 hours per week.
