Every day there is a need for time.....time to care...a time to bring joy to those around bringing us a sense of purpose and well-being.
Be the joy!
Are you looking for an opportunity to be the joy in someone's day? Our hospice volunteers bring kindness, joy and so much more to patients on our service! Our 'Direct Care' Volunteers serve as an additional support to patients and families dealing with a terminal illness and end-of-life issues. Support is provided in a variety of ways, including providing companionship and socialization to patients, or offering respite to stressed caregivers. Direct Care Volunteers may also make tuck in calls to patients and families from our office.

- write letters on behalf of patients
- assist with plant or pet care,
- make a snack,
- send a card,
- provide a respite time for primary caregivers,
