About MONTAGE HEALTH FOUNDATION

Location:

23625 HOLMAN HWY, MONTEREY, CA 93940, US

Mission Statement

We believe our community’s greatest resource is the health of its people. Our family of organizations is dedicated to the pursuit of optimal health for all people in Monterey County, from birth to end of life. We believe the achievement of optimal health requires pro-active partnering with physicians and other clinicians, healthcare and community organizations, and, most importantly, each person we serve. Achieving this goal requires our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional value- based care that is preventive (building and retaining health), restorative (facilitating recovery from illness or injury), and palliative (maximizing well-being when recovery is not possible). We believe optimal health on an individual level is possible only when each person actively participates in their own healthcare. We inspire that participation through personalized information, education, and support, provided by a coordinated and compassionate team.

Description

Montage Health Foundation was formed in 2017 to provide philanthropic support to Montage Health and its family of companies, including Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. The foundation’s mission is to advance the vision and strategic priorities of Montage Health by inspiring giving that enhances and improves the health of the entire community.

The foundation is guided by a board of community members who are passionate about the work and impact of Montage Health. They are responsible for raising and distributing funds that support existing programs and also help finance new services where there is need. Board members work closely with foundation staff, a team led by Kevin Causey, vice president/chief development officer.
