ORGANIZATION: Intermountain Health Hospice (Formerly Lutheran Hospice)

We are looking for dedicated Volunteers all over the state to make visits to our home patients, many of which are home* bound.
This includes providing companionship, respite to the caregiver, errands/ shopping or light house keeping.

*Home is defined as where ever the patient is living. This could be in their own home or a facility.

Description

Intermountain Health Hospice, formerly known as Lutheran Hospice, is a comprehensive program providing care and support for individuals with a terminal illness, and offering education and support for their families. Established in June 1985, the program is licensed by the State of Colorado, certified by Medicare and accredited by The Joint Commission, which sets the standards by which health care quality is measured.

Intermountain Health Hospice provides end-of-life programs and services in a variety of settings, including an inpatient unit and the patient's own home. Our services are created to meet the needs of the terminally ill and those who love them

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • You must commit to a minimum of 1 hour a week for 6 months.
  • Must be willing to travel and pass a drug screen. Most importantly, you must be great with people! (We do not accept community service)
