The Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania believes that no child should feel excluded or unsafe because of their epilepsy. We strive to alleviate the stress and fear that many children with epilepsy face by providing access to all life experiences - including summer camp!

From its humble beginnings over 20 years ago, Camp Achieve is a uniquely designed week-long sleepaway summer camp program tailored to the special needs of youth living with epilepsy. In partnership with Camp Green Lane in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, Camp Achieve provides campers ages 8 to 17 the opportunity to enjoy all of the fun and friendship that traditional summer camp offers. This summer, from August 11th-16th, more than 50 youth living with epilepsy from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey will come together at Camp Achieve to enjoy the great outdoors, participate in games and sports, sing camp songs, and build lasting friendships - all with the support of counselors, volunteer medical staff, and peers who understand the challenges that epilepsy brings.

That's where you come in! Camp Achieve would not be possible without the invaluable help and expertise of the our dedicated Camp Counselors. Whether you're living with epilepsy and are looking to help and mentor youth with the diagnosis, or you're just passionate about summer camp, Camp Achieve wouldn't be possible without the dedication or our volunteer camp counselors. Internship opportunities available. For more information about Camp Achieve, and to learn how you can get involved, please contact our Camp & Community Outreach Coordinator, Andrew Chmielowiec, at camp@efepa.org or (215) 629-5003 x103.
