Dunk4Dreams is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support basketball-focused and technology-access programs for youth.
Job Summary
As the Senior Technical Product Manager (IT) at Dunk4Dreams, you will lead the development of our basketball merchandise line. Your role encompasses building ecommerce website to sell basketball merchandise. Your duties include website design, development, and mapping it with our Merchandising partners. Your leadership will ensure our products meet quality standards, align with our brand, and resonate with our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of a website page to sell our basketball merchandise.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop product concepts and designs.
- Oversee the production process, ensuring adherence to quality and budget.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to integrate pricing and product details.
- Manage product testing and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with market trends to identify new product opportunities.
- Ensure the website provides a delightful customer experience.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of product development processes in the fashion or sports industry.
- Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and materials.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to analyze market trends and consumer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Design, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in sports or athletic merchandise.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
