About Dunk4Dreams
Dunk4Dreams is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support basketball-focused and technology-access programs for youth.
Job Summary
As a Finance Coordinator at Dunk4Dreams, you will oversee and manage the financial aspects of our basketball merchandise category. Your role involves budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring financial compliance. Your expertise in finance will be vital in guiding the financial health and sustainability of this category.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage budgets for the basketball merchandise category.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Manage invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable related to merchandise sales.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for cost optimization.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance related to merchandise sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a finance role, experience in a retail or merchandise-focused organization is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
