Volunteer Opportunity: Personal Kit Sorting for Client Support
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing various challenges? Join us in our mission to provide essential support to our clients by volunteering to sort and assemble Personal Kits tailored to their unique needs.
About Us: Western South Dakota Community Action is dedicated to empowering individuals in our community, irrespective of their circumstances. Our Personal Kits play a crucial role in offering support and comfort to those navigating difficult times.
Volunteer Responsibilities: As a Personal Kit Sorting Volunteer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive personalized care and assistance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sorting and organizing items for Personal Kits.
- Assembling kits according to specified guidelines.
- Collaborating with the team to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Contributing to the overall mission of WSDCA
Qualifications: No specific qualifications are required, but we welcome individuals who:
- Have attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Possess a positive and empathetic attitude.
- Can work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Are committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
Time Commitment: WSDCA is open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
We have a flexible schedule, preferably 2-hour and 4-hour shifts at a time. Would love recurring volunteers for each week, but would be happy with anything provided.
