CuriOdyssey is home to approximately 100 non-releasable animals that depend on our Wildlife Department for exceptional daily care. As a Wildlife Aide, you'll assist our professional Keepers in maintaining healthy diets and ensuring clean, safe living environments for all our animals.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assist Animal Keepers with cleaning and maintaining animal exhibits

• Assist with diet preparation

• Help keep the commissary tidy and organized-clean tools and equipment

• Assist with animal enrichment as needed

• Assist Keepers with other Wildlife Department activities as needed

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Previous experience with wildlife is helpful but optional

• Proof of current tetanus shot

• Interest in wildlife and the environment

• Take and follow oral and written instructions well

• Hard-working, reliable, flexible, and energetic

• Must be willing to do light to heavy cleaning. This position requires physical labor-frequent bending and lifting

• Apply a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) lens when engaging with children, ensuring fair and equitable treatment. Avoid over-policing children and strive to understand and respect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all children.
