Rebuilding Together Peninsula brings people together to provide critical home repairs for neighbors-in-need throughout San Mateo and Northern Santa Clara Counties. We rely on handy individuals to help us repair homes, revitalize communities, and rebuild lives.

Description
We are neighbors helping neighbors. Since 1989, Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) has offered no-cost repair and renovation services for vulnerable homeowners and community facilities throughout San Mateo County and northern Santa Clara County. We work with skilled technicians and volunteers to ensure safe and healthy housing for those most in need, including seniors and veterans to individuals with disabilities and families with children. Each year, RTP, in partnership with sponsors and volunteers, makes approximately 250 homes safer and more livable.

- Orientation or Training
- Construction Captains average about 60 hours over a period of 3 months for planning and preparation work, in advance of a full day's project work.
- Construction Captains serve as site project managers for home repairs - determining scope of work, volunteer team oversight, supply procurement, and job completion.
