ORGANIZATION: Counselors In The Community Alliance- CITCA

Job Summary:

The Digital Outreach Committee Member plays an integral role in the Counselors in the Community Association Co. They are tasked with leveraging digital platforms to reach out, engage, and cultivate relationships with individuals and communities facing socioeconomic barriers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support digital outreach that aligns with CITCA's mission of improving healthcare opportunities and managing care for underserved populations.
  2. Utilize digital platforms (social media, email, blogs, forums etc.) to communicate CITCA's initiatives, programs, and impact stories.
  3. Collaborate with the Programming Committee and other teams to promote CITCA's programs and initiatives digitally.
  4. Engage with online communities, respond to inquiries and comments, and foster a positive online presence for CITCA.
  5. Analyze digital outreach efforts, track engagement metrics, and use data to inform and improve future strategies.
  6. Assist in online fundraising efforts and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  1. Passionate about CITCA's mission with a desire to make a significant impact.
  2. Previous experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related field.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Familiarity with healthcare systems and the challenges faced by individuals with socioeconomic barriers.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and with a diverse range of digital communities.

Mission Statement

Counselors in the Community Alliance- CITCA serves disadvantaged individuals throughout the United States from urban & rural communities with mental and behavioral health resources by increasing access to services, resources and support for children, adults and families impacted by poverty and poverty-related issues and bridge the gaps to strengthen community resilience through stewardship, economic opportunities, health and education equity.

Description

CITCA is a national 501c3 on a powerful mission to increase strengthen mental health awareness and community resilience. Our association includes a collaborative alliance among counselors, mental health professionals, and community members nationwide engaging in civic community activities that promote mental health awareness and resiliency. Through such allyship the organization strengthens anti-poverty initiatives that bridge the gaps on access to care and socioeconomic resources including programs, education and employment resources.

Since incorporating the nonprofit has been driving impact in social emotional learning, SEL and increasing access to counseling services for low income families. The organization also offer programs for youth leadership development, advocacy, community resources and programs that contribute to prosocial development and other services to close equity gaps

We are seeking volunteers to serve with us who share similar passions to increase mental health awareness and strengthen communities. Volunteers are the driving force our mission would be incomplete without and we welcome all with a passion too serve.
