The Gathering, a Lyngblomsten group respite program, expanded to our Lino Lakes facility in late January. Can you help?
The Gathering provides four hours of brain-stimulating activities and social engagement to adults living with early- to mid-stage memory loss, allowing their caregivers a much-needed break. Volunteers like you help participants take part in fun activities like crafts, music, gentle movement, and Trivia! Training is provided.
Join us as a Respite Assistant or just come for a short time and lead an activity. The Gathering is held twice a week (Mondays and Tuesdays) in our Como Park location and once a week (Thursdays) at our White Bear Lake location. We now also offer The Gathering at our Lino Lakes site on Wednesdays. Volunteer time is 9:30am to 2:15pm.
Please fill out an application at https://www.volgistics.com/appform/23212736 or contact Melanie at mjagolino@lyngblomsten.org for more details.
