JOB DESCRIPTION

GoodBot

goodbot is an interdisciplinary community of socially-minded professionals working in law, technology, design, social sciences, and policy. Our purpose is to support the development of trusted, accountable, and socially sustainable technology ecosystems by strengthening awareness, research, policy, and practice.

We offer professional services to help technology companies develop and embed measurable social impact strategies into their products and business models and help them to navigate a complex and rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

We also develop original research on emerging innovation, technology risks and harms, and approaches needed to effectively govern technology and build toward healthy and inclusive digital societies that benefit everyone.

• 1-4 years of experience in marketing and social media
• Experience with CRM platforms
• Proficient and comfortable with social media management including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok, either through education, work, or volunteering
• Knowledge of graphic design (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator), photography, and/or video edition software is an asset
• A desire and ability to create powerful messaging and elegant design
• Strong prioritization and project management skills
• Action-oriented, problem-solving, and excellent attention skills.
• PR experience is an asset

• Creating and executing marketing and communications strategy for GoodBot that highlights intended impact and community engagement
• Constructing marketing emails, communication materials, and reports where there is overlap between marketing objectives (such as understanding stakeholder mapping), etc.
• Measuring and reporting on the impact and outcomes of campaigns via platform metrics
• Managing online marketing and social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn) and email
• Identifying and developing strategic partnerships with traditional and non-traditional media
• Recruiting volunteer designers to support the creation of marketing materials
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of and enhancements of the GoodBot business development
