The DASH domestic violence clinics help victims of abuse free themselves from terror and violence. Volunteers work in the clinics assisting domestic violence survivors prepare their Requests for Restraining Orders and related Requests for Child Custody Orders. The clinics also provide information and assistance regarding community-based services to promote healing, stability and self-sufficiency.
The DASH Project operates four domestic violence clinics at the following Los Angeles County Superior Courts:
Lancaster, Pomona, Chatsworth, and Van Nuys. Clinics operate Monday--Friday from 8:30 am--12:30 pm.
We need attorney, paralegal, law student, college student, pre-law students, community volunteers, and interpreters. No prior experience necessary.
Bilingual Spanish, Farsi and Armenian speakers are especially needed.
