We ask that you are dressed business casual, no jeans, no flip flops. But be comfortable.

Here are some specifics for each area:

Registration / check in: this will be done with an iPad or tablet - there will be a formal training, and we will also send videos out as well ahead of time. The volunteer will be responsible for checking in a guest, gathering information needed, especially cell phone & e-mail. All guests should already be in the system with a bidder number and table number, if there is an issue, there will be someone there to troubleshoot.

Auction: these people will be in the auction area, either watching over the items, answering questions / helping people. Two people will be assigned to our handbag drawing, selling tickets for this.

Raffles Sales: The handbags! We have a separate set-up for the handbags that we have a "lucky chance drawing" to, and we would love to have at least 3-4 dedicated volunteers selling as many as possible, walking around the cocktail / auction area asking people.

Spotter: Most of the people from registration can / will move over to the spotter. During our Fund The Mission segments (the most important), we will need spotters / recorders to "record" each bidder who puts their bid card up for a donation. We usually start at the $25,000 level and work our way down to $250. We will have a specific form and pens for these people. After this segment, we will go over the numbers together to make sure we did not miss anyone and have the correct numbers.

Runner: We usually have 1-2 runners to help with whatever we need in the moment.

Auction Check-Out: During the program, we will work with volunteers to "flip" the auction area for an easy auction check out. We will need "shoppers" and people to check out our guests. Shoppers are responsible for getting the correct auction item(s) to the person at check out to hand over to the guest. The person at checkout is responsible for making sure the guest has a credit card on file and is able to send them a receipt if needed. We will have people from our software company there to help.

Break Down / Clean Up: Packing up any left over auction items, left over VIP gifts, signage, table runners (if we use ours!), and any garbage (mostly boxes and paper).

Thank you!
