**Role Description:**

As a Volunteer Nonprofit Attorney at TWCUYC, you will provide essential legal guidance and support to our organization. Your expertise and commitment will help us navigate complex legal matters, ensuring our programs and initiatives comply with all relevant regulations and laws.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Offer legal counsel and guidance to the organization's leadership and board members.

- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents as needed.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws governing nonprofit organizations.

- Provide legal advice on employment matters, governance, and organizational structure.

- Assist in intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights.

- Address any legal issues that may arise and propose solutions.

- Keep the organization informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Description

Through our unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, The Wright Cause Urban Youth Conservation strives to provide support, guidance, and opportunity for youth. We are dedicated to creating a future where every young person’s potential is realized, their dreams are celebrated, and their voices are amplified.

Resilience Rising- Transitional Housing for Youth Impacted by HIV- We are committed to providing a haven and empowering opportunities for young adults aged 18-24 whom HIV impacts. We believe in their strength, resilience, and ability to overcome challenges. The young adults participating in Resilience Rising may be impacted by HIV in various ways, even if they are not HIV-positive.

One Hour, Infinite Impact- We believe in the power of youth to create positive change in their communities. Our program, "One Hour, Infinite Impact," is designed to engage and empower young people to serve their assigned communities in the most needed areas of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

EmpowerED for Life -Our goal is to transform the lives of at-risk youth and individuals with a history in the criminal justice system. Our program, "EmpowerED for Life," is dedicated to reducing recidivism, preventing prison involvement, and equipping participants with crucial life skills, including soft skills.
