Our mission is to break the silence surrounding abuse and empower individuals, families, and communities to take action.

Position Description: BTSADV is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as a Volunteer Social Media Content Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for using social media scheduling platforms, such as SocialPilot or similar tools, to plan and post engaging content on various platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. Your efforts will contribute to spreading awareness, sharing resources, and fostering community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and curate compelling content for social media platforms that aligns with BTSADV's mission and campaigns.
  • Utilize social media scheduling platforms (e.g., SocialPilot) to plan and schedule posts across Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
  • Monitor and engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement social media strategies that support our awareness initiatives.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
  • Experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g., SocialPilot, Buffer, Hootsuite).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey messages effectively through social media.
  • Creativity and an understanding of current trends in social media.
  • Commitment to the mission of BTSADV and raising awareness about domestic violence.
