ORGANIZATION: US-Uganda Orphans Education Fund

  1. Attend regular meetings of the US-Uganda Orphans Education Fund Board of Directors, which are each approximately two hours in duration. The Board meets monthly with committee meetings held in coordination with the full Board meetings. Members should be accessible for personal contact in between Board
  2. Provide leadership to Board committees. This may require several meetings per year plus individual committee task completion
  3. Commit time to developing sources of income for the US-Uganda Orphans Education Fund. This may include making personal donations as well as supporting other fund development activities of the US-Uganda Orphans Education Fund in a manner appropriate for Board
  4. Prepare in advance for decision-making and policy formation at Board meetings; take responsibility for self-education on the major issues before the Board.
  5. Responsibly review and act upon committee recommendations brought to the Board for action.
  6. In general, utilize personal and professional skills, relationships and knowledge for the advancement of the US-Uganda Orphans Education
  7. US-Uganda Orphans Education Fund Board Members terms are one-year and are eligible for re-appointment.

To provide Tuition Assistance to needy high school student orphans in Western and Northern Uganda.

Description

We are a 501 C 3 organization. We raise money to assist needy orphans complete their secondary school education. We screen applicants to assure they are needy and orphaned . We also follow their academic studies to make sure they are academically able to achieve good grades in order to stay in the program.
