Change the life of a refugee or immigrant by helping them prepare for their U.S. citizenship interview right from your home.

No teaching experience is required, we train you. You only need a basic (Junior High) knowledge of U.S. History and Government. You'll work one-on-one with your individual student, in 2 one hour sessions each week. They come from all over the the world and now live in all 50 states. You and your student can arrange the most convenient times to meet online and learn together.

Our students never pay a penny for our teaching.

We have well over 100 success stories - students who are now full fledged American Citizens.

You'll get to know your student and their family, and become their trusted friend. And they'll never forget you!

Mission Statement

The U.S. Citizenship Foundation is a non profit organization that helps refugees and immigrants attain their United States Citizenship. We believe every qualified individual has the right to all privileges of American Citizenship so they can become a full participant in our society. And we never charge a penny for our services.

Description

The entire USCF staff including management and tutors work on a volunteer basis. Our tutors have helped over 110 refugees and immigrants earn their U.S. Citizenship by helping them pass their naturalization interviews. All of our instruction is done on Zoom, to focus on students who cannot attend citizenship classes in person, because of disability, work schedule, or distance from the nearest in person classes. There is never a charge to any refugee or immigrant for our teaching. Our tutors and students are in every state in the country, from all walks of life.
