Position Description: As a Volunteer Social Media Administrator, you become a vital part of our journey. Your role is to coordinate and enhance our online presence across various social media platforms, supporting our commitment to the London Autistic Community. This opportunity is tailor-made for individuals who are passionate about crafting engaging content, building online communities, and are eager to contribute to a cause they genuinely believe in.

Key Responsibilities:

Using a range of social media accounts; Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

Looking, navigating, joining and rule-respecting various Facebook Groups.

Preparing and posting correct ads for our various events and charity updates.

Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages with empathy and understanding.

Coordinate and implement social media campaigns to actively promote the Charities mission.

Keep a watchful eye on social media trends, proposing creative ideas to elevate our online presence.

Collaborate seamlessly with the team to align social media efforts with our overall messaging for the London Autistic Community.


We prefer someone to have post-employment that involves social media.

Personal connection or understanding of Autism

Knowledge of different areas of London

Full understanding of using social media; Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Passion for social media with a good understanding of various platforms.

Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.

Creativity and an eye for design are definite pluses.

Familiarity with social media analytics and tracking tools.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Enthusiastic and perfectly aligned with London Autism Group Charity's mission.

Experience in using more than one social media account.


Gain hands-on experience in social media coordination, making a tangible impact in the London Autistic Community.

Contribute to the growth and visibility of a cause that genuinely matters.

London Autism Group Charity is dedicated to helping anyone in London and neighbouring Counties effected by Autism. We support the Mental Health and well-being of Autistic people and carers. We do this with a wide variety of advice, support and by providing material help. We Campaign to reduce Autism Stigma and promote Autism Acceptance. We aim to provide support at every stage of an Autistic person's life. Our long term goals are: To promote social inclusion of autistic people as well as family carers. To advance their mental and physical health, and well-being. To promote social awareness and acceptance of autism and to reduce autism stigma and discrimination. London Autism Group is a charity dedicated to helping anyone in London and its neighbouring Boroughs with an interest in Autism. We began with a Facebook group, to offer advice and support to those who came to us. It is now a thriving hub for the London Autistic Community where people can come to seek assistance with whatever questions they have, or to connect with other similar members of the Community.
At London Autism Group Charity, we bring a wide range of targeted support, to eventually offer help at every stage of an Autistic person's life.
With the dedication of our volunteers, staff members, and partners, we strive to improve the lives of everyone who needs help within our community.
