The Day Center Host is a welcoming presence at the Family Promise Day Center. The Day Center is open and available for Guest Families from 7am - 5pm as a safe landing spot for the families to spend time when not at work, school or other appointments. The Day Center Host is there to ensure Guest Families are taken care of and the First United Methodist Church building is secure, with the back-up of a staff member on-call. Morning and afternoon shifts are available, with immediate needs on Saturday and Sunday. You will be engaging directly with families as they use the Day Center and have the opportunity to make a positive difference in their lives by playing a part in providing a safe and welcoming space. Children are welcome to serve with parents.
