Assist in facilitating a fun, engaging activities that encourages guests to explore nature and the world around them.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Have a passion and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Lead children through a predetermined craft/activity in an outdoor setting (or indoors based on weather)
  • Speak loud enough to be heard by a large group in an outdoor space

Time: The second Saturday of every month from 9:45-12:15

Description

Leading Through Experience! You've gained a lifetime of experience. Now is the time to put your skills and talents to good use by volunteering through RSVP. RSVP provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through non-profit, faith-based, and governmental agencies to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of volunteers with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental accident insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
