Join the staff at Lincoln Boyhood as an Eclipse Volunteer and experience a total solar eclipse in Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial while helping staff and visitors! (Important Note: This position does NOT offer housing. Preference will be given to those within a commuting distance.)

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will be visible from Texas to Maine. The path of totality will cross over 27 park units, including Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. We are excited to offer the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to volunteer in a national park site during a total solar eclipse!

Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is recruiting several volunteers for various duties starting in mid-March to the day of the eclipse. On April 8, 2024, volunteers will assist with directing traffic and maintaining visitor safety in viewing locations during this astronomical event. Two volunteers are needed to assist a NASA staff member with pre-eclipse programming at local schools and with the local community.

Our staff hope that you will join us in making a difference during the total eclipse of the park!
