Volunteer Position: Video Content Creator (Shorts) - Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence
Organization: Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence (BTSADV) Location: Remote (Anywhere) Position Type: Volunteer Commitment: Flexible hours, 5-10 hours per week
About Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence: Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence (BTSADV) is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence and providing support to survivors. Through various programs and initiatives, we aim to empower individuals, families, and communities to break the silence and end the cycle of abuse.
Position Description: BTSADV is seeking a dedicated and creative individual to join our team as a Volunteer Video Content Creator (Shorts). As a Video Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging and impactful video shorts under a minute in duration using Canva. These videos will be used on our social media platforms, website, and other promotional materials to raise awareness about domestic violence, share survivor stories, and promote our initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create compelling video shorts (under a minute) using Canva, incorporating graphics, text, and other multimedia elements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and scripts that align with our messaging and campaigns.
- Edit and enhance existing video content to optimize its impact and reach.
- Ensure all video content adheres to BTSADV's branding guidelines and quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in video content creation to enhance the organization's digital presence.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using Canva and other video editing tools.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of storytelling and visual communication.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Passion for social causes, particularly in raising awareness about domestic violence.
- Previous experience in video content creation is a plus, but not required.
