What is needed? St. Vrain Habitat for Humanity seeks an individual volunteer to assist our ReStore team with donations. Tasks may include unloading donations from donors' cars. Donations also need to be sorted, tested, cleaned, and priced. Some donations require research to learn more about their value. Repeat volunteers may be trained in assisting with pricing donations, which requires basic computer literacy. Processed donations will then be put out on the sales floor. Volunteers assist with stocking and organizing the store to make it attractive to customers. Volunteers provide customer service to shoppers and customers in a helpful, courteous manner.

Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has been building simple, decent, affordable homes for those in need throughout our community. The mission of Habitat for Humanity is "to put God’s love into action, bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope."
Description
Based in Longmont, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has built 120 homes locally. Our homes are sold to qualified family partners at cost with a no-profit mortgage. As homeowners repay their mortgage, the funds are invested into building more homes for deserving families. We select homeowner families based on their need for adequate shelter, their ability to pay for a Habitat home, and their willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity, including taking financial and homeownership classes. All homeowners contribute "sweat equity"; they work in partnership with the affiliate and other volunteers, contributing up to 500 hours of volunteer service.
