Located along the beautiful Cumberland Mountains, Cumberland Gap National Historical Park stretches across three states: Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia. With over 85 miles of hiking trails, historical sites, overlooks, camping, and guided tours, Cumberland Gap provides opportunities for visitors of all ages and abilities.
Hensley Settlement was an active community of farming families during first half of the 20th century. Today, the buildings and artifacts that remain serve as a reminder of an 'older way of life' throughout the Appalachian Mountains.
Scheduled walking tours of the historic Hensley Settlement run from mid-May through late October. After reserving their tickets in advance, groups of up to 10 visitors arrive at the visitor center, where they are greeted by their tour guide and shuttled to the settlement in a park service vehicle. With driving time included, a single tour may last four hours or more, with a break for lunch partway through.

- Other duties as needed.
