Do you have a heart for horses and helping people with disabilities? We would love for you to join us! We provide free training for all levels of our program. Volunteer Opportunities: Feeding & Mucking (needed 7 days a week), Sidewalking for lessons, Horse Leading for lessons. You'll love the bonds you build with the horses, clients and other volunteers! The mission of The Right Step is to better the lives of people with disabilities through the healing power of horses.
Description
The Right Step is a PATH Intl. Premier Accredited therapetic horseback riding program that has served the Denver metro area since 2008. Our clients are people with disabilities ranging from developmental to physical to psychological. The majority of our clients are on the autism spectrum. Our clients range in age from 4 to 92!

- The shifts are between 1 - 2 hours. You may sign up to do a couple shifts back-to-back. You choose the time that works best for you!
- Step 1 - Fill out the application. A background check is also required for every volunteer that is 18 or older. Step 2 - Training is free and offered each week!
