'Tis the season for giving, and we invite you to join us in spreading some much-needed holiday cheer! Christmas in the Kitchen, a heartwarming event hosted by Indiana Wish, is just around the corner, and we are in need of dedicated volunteers to make this magical evening a reality.

Event Details:

  • Date: Thursday, December 12th

  • Time: 4:30 - 7:30 PM & 7:30 PM - 11 PM

  • Location: Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, 1 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204

  • Dress Code: Cocktail Attire

As a volunteer, you'll play an essential role in ensuring that Christmas in the Kitchen is an unforgettable experience for our guests. Your responsibilities may include assisting with auction assistance, event check-out, floater and Tito’s Toss.

But the joy of volunteering doesn't stop there! To express our heartfelt gratitude for your time and dedication, dinner will be available to all volunteers. It's our way of saying "Thank You" for volunteering.

Remember, the true spirit of the holiday season lies in giving. By volunteering with Indiana Wish, you'll not only help in creating cherished memories for the kids but also experience the joy of making a difference in their lives.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to put smiles on the faces of Indiana children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness by making a dream come true. Our children have had to fight battles that they should not have to fight. They don’t get to enjoy everything they should. Granting their wish gives these brave children something to look forward to and helps build strength and hope for their futures.

Description

At Indiana Wish, we work so hard to grant wishes because they create hope in the midst of hard. And hope can be a powerful force in the health and healing of these children. Research studies have shown that children who have received wishes have less distress, fewer episodes of depression and reduced anxiety. And all this, in turn, can improve quality of life, foster hope and resilience, and potentially lead to better health outcomes.

When you get involved with Indiana Wish, you become part of the hope and healing we're working toward - one wish at a time.
