Atlantic Outreach Group strives to empower vulnerable communities by connecting them to resources necessary for their success.

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:

This year will be Atlantic Outreach Group’s 6th Annual Holiday Helping Hands program! We’re hoping to beat our record and provide toys and other gifts to 1,200 children whose families may not have the resources to celebrate this holiday season. We’re seeking volunteers to help contribute to our supply of toys.

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:

All holiday helpers will be granted volunteer hours!

  • 2 hours for a large sized toy
  • 1 hour for a medium sized toy
  • 1 hour for two small toys
  • You can drop off/mail all gifts to 2421 Westwood Ave Suite G, Richmond VA 23230.

Time Commitment:

This opportunity can be completed on your own schedule, however all toys must be turned in by Dec. 22nd! Our drop-off hours are M-F, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

  • When you express interest in this opportunity, we will reach out to you and provide examples of items in each size
  • If you need verification of your volunteer hours, you will need to fill out our verification form. You’ll need to include a photo of your items in the form. It can take up to 72 hours after submitting this form to receive a verification letter.

Atlantic Outreach Group (AOG), is a community based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering individuals and families by connecting them to resources needed for their success. We assist those that are overwhelmed by physical, mental, emotional, social and financial challenges, by providing resources that assist in making positive sustainable changes in their lives.

We understand the importance of having a network of support that shares in our mission to help those in need in under-serviced communities. Our dedication to creating partnerships to assist in providing wrap-around support services, is key to our success. AOG strives to bridge the gap in services needed and those available by offering referrals to reputable outside agencies as well as internal programs to individuals and families.
