Our support group program is a vital one for the many caregivers in Orange County that are caring for a loved one with dementia. This informal discussion group offers resources for problem solving, support and friendship and to learn from others. It is a place for caregivers to share experiences and feelings and hear from others in similar situations.
Become a support group facilitator: We are looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals willing and able to volunteer monthly to moderate our groups in Orange County, especially North County. Previous or professional experience is not required, reflective listening skills are.
You will attend our facilitator training, approx. three hours, observe support groups, then co-facilitate until you are comfortable being on your own.

The Alzheimer's Orange County is a non-profit agency. We are funded through personal donations, grants, fundraisers and donations from large corporations. Alzheimer's Orange County provides support, information and education to Alzheimer's individuals and their families, friends and co-workers.
