Legacy is seeking passionate, caring individuals to join our team as volunteers. Would you like to become one? We provide care to patients during their final stages of life. Our trained volunteers provide comfort, companionship, and support to our patients and their families. These patients are in their private homes or facilities. Opportunities include listening, reading to the patient, being a presence if the patient wants to sit quietly, sitting with a patient while the caregiver runs to the store, cutting grass, raking leaves, etc. Volunteers can also work in the office on special projects, assist our liaisons with appreciation events, make blankets, or crafty items for our patients.
