Veteran Owned Alliant Palliative Care and Hospice is looking for Friendly Volunteers to offer Pet Therapy to our Patients:

*We do not supply the therapy animal*

Hospice patients and their caregivers are often dealing with high levels of stress, anxiety, depression and other emotional problems. It has been proven that pet therapy can help people with these emotions.

Please help us put a smile on our patients' faces by bringing them companionship through pet therapy. Your pet must have a pet therapy license in order to participate in this opportunity.

An interdisciplinary team of professionals address physical, psychosocial, and spiritual distress focused on both the dying person and their entire family. Alliant Palliative Care and Hospice offers medical care that addresses symptom management, coordination of care, communication and decision making, clarification of goals of care, and quality of life. Services are provided at the patient's home or in a medical facility.

Alliant Palliative Care and Hospice serves the Denver Metro Area from Castle Rock to Fort Collins. We are a family-owned Colorado company that provides patients and families with high-quality care and services. We strive to demonstrate our belief in the dignity and worth of each individual.   • Flexible- minimum requirement of one visit/month (ideally 2-3 hours a month). Visits can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. All efforts are appreciated and needed.
  • TB screen and flu shot (during flu season)
