Ascend Hospice of Northern Virginia is seeking professional and compassionate art therapists to volunteer their time and talents helping our patients to experience lower levels of depression and loneliness through creative arts. Stress, anxiety, depression and feelings of loneliness are conditions that our patients and families struggle with daily. If you possess the time and dedication we ask you to please help us support our patients and their families during this crucial time in their lives. Ascend Hospice provides training, orientation, and assistance to help support you during your time working with hospice patients.

Ascend offers a wide range of additional services such as veteran recognition, aroma therapy, massage, reiki, as well as programs and services that are specific to the care of patients who have dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
