CASA's foundational approach is built on three pillars: Advocacy, Child Welfare Education, and Support. Our mission is to champion the rights and needs of children in the foster care system. For a deeper understanding, please visit our website.
We are looking for an individual(s) with good communication and graphic design skills who is proficient in using social media. This volunteer role will contribute significantly to CASA's mission by expanding our reach and impact through digital platforms. The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating posts and graphics for Facebook and Instagram.
We anticipate that the selected individual will be able to dedicate approximatelt 5-8 hours per week, on average, of voluntary service to bolster our initiatives.
The volunteer will be under the guidance of our Executive Director. Primary responsibilities will include creating diverse social media posts, reels and stories for Facebook, and Instagram.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in social media platforms, email, and web navigation.
- Good written communication skills, emphasizing online post creation and grammar.

The mission of First Circuit Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is to assure a safe, permanent, nurturing home for every abused and/or neglected child by providing a trained volunteer to advocate for them in the court system.
Description
Every year, over half a million abused and neglected children seek stable, loving homes. This is where CASA comes into play. Founded in 1977, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) ensures these children aren't further victimized within the system. Trained CASA volunteers, appointed by judges, become the voice for these children in court, leading to placements in homes where they can thrive. Our ultimate vision? A dedicated volunteer advocate for every child in need.
