Pacific Opera Project (POP) is the most innovative opera company in Los Angeles! Our small but mighty administrative team produces "accessible, affordable, and entertaining" opera all throughout LA.
POP is preparing for our groundbreaking production of Puccini's Madama Butterfly 蝶々夫人. Our production is performed in Japanese and English.
POP is seeking volunteers who are fluent in Japanese to translate our website, show program, and other public information. Volunteers can choose their hours and level of commitment, and will have opportunities to support our production teams at rehearsals, shows and events. Plus our translators will get free tickets to see the show!
Join the fun and volunteer with POP! The opportunities are endless and they all include beautiful music and unforgettable parties. If you have a special skill, put it to work! Or volunteer with POP to build out your resume and learn more about our company.
Individuals and groups of all ages are welcome! Thank you for serving and supporting arts in Los Angeles!
NOTE: Volunteers MUST be fluent in Japanese language, both verbal and written. Native Japanese speakers are encouraged to apply.
