This internship is an amazing opportunity for any students interested in the judicial system. As a Judicial Investigations Specialist, the student will be working within MADD’s Court Monitoring program. The main responsibilities within this role primarily focus on investigating DUI cases within their assigned Idaho county and analyzing the demographics and data within each of the cases. By analyzing the data of the offenders within each DUI case, the Judicial Investigations Specialist can determine any significant commonalities between cases in the county that either support or go against MADD’s mission of no more victims. Interns within this role will also be exclusively working alongside the Court Monitors to research different magistrates and determine the scheduling for upcoming hearings for DUI related cases. Time Commitment: 2-5 hours

Description
We've all heard and read about- or even know from our own experience- people who's lives have been dramatically affected by a drunk driver. We wonder why they do it, why they get away with it, and ask when is "somebody" going to do something about a problem so serious that it has the potential of touching the lives of each and every one of us at some point in time.
This is where you come in. You can be that "somebody" who is going to make a difference.
