This position is essential to how people see MADD in our community and growing our capacity with more volunteers; the more people know about our services and mission, the more lives we can save. The friendly, outgoing volunteers in this position represent MADD programs at fairs and festivals throughout the year in Idaho, answering questions about the lifesaving work we do at MADD, handing out educational materials, and telling people about our programs and upcoming events. Skills/Training Requirements: Background check, completion of MADD orientation, ability to communicate effectively, dependability, networking skills, outgoing and friendly. Mission Statement
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is the premiere non profit working to stop drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.
Description
We've all heard and read about- or even know from our own experience- people who's lives have been dramatically affected by a drunk driver. We wonder why they do it, why they get away with it, and ask when is "somebody" going to do something about a problem so serious that it has the potential of touching the lives of each and every one of us at some point in time.
This is where you come in. You can be that "somebody" who is going to make a difference.
