At Hidden Gem Cat Rescue, we're committed to helping cats and kittens in need. Our organization is run by dedicated volunteers, many of whom are veterinary professionals that provide essential medical care to the animals in our care. However, we're currently in need of a volunteer bookkeeper to help us keep our records accurate and up-to-date.
We're looking for someone with experience using QuickBooks who can help us ensure that our donations are correctly recorded for tax purposes, accounts are reconciled correctly for the previous months, transactions are categorized correctly, and help answer questions we may have as we go. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of donors to keep our operations running smoothly. It's crucial that we have the financial records to match so that we can account for every donation we receive.
By volunteering as a bookkeeper, you'll be making a significant contribution to our cause. This year alone, the money we would save from hiring a professional bookkeeper could help us spay and neuter over 150 cats and kittens and provide them with essential care. Your help will allow us to allocate those funds to other areas of need and ensure that we continue to provide the best care possible for the animals in our care.
We're seeking someone kind-hearted and generous with their time and skills. Your assistance will make a real difference in the lives of cats and kittens in need, and we can't thank you enough for considering joining our team!

Description
Co-Founders Allen and Sam began rescuing cats in 2012, It was realized and decided that so many animals needed help and something needed to be done! Allen and Sam both went into the veterinary field, Allen aims to become a Veterinarian to help the cats even more! Sam has managed and created the rescue all the while battling chronic illness.
Hidden Gem Cat Rescue has formed a wonderful Board of Directors, many of which are in the Veterinary Field, something very unique to us.
We hope to be able to expand and have a physical location one day so we can help even more cats in need and continue to work to end overpopulation and to end pet suffering. We want to be involved in our community and we want our community to be involved with us!
So far Hidden Gem Cat Rescue has helped countless cats and kittens in the Pacific Northwest get spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before finding their forever homes. We work with the Eastside to transport cats over to the Westside to help curb the animal overpopulation issues as well and do our absolute best to help wherever we can.
