Job Title: Social Media Marketing Volunteer
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Marketing Committee Chair
Summary
We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Volunteer to assist with our efforts to boost brand awareness, engagement, and donations. The ideal candidate will have experience using Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to create engaging content that drives results. They will also be able to design eye-catching posts using Canva and set up a calendar of posts to run on a regular basis. In addition, the volunteer will be required to attend monthly Board Meetings via Zoom to stay up to date on the organization and upcoming promotion needs.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage social media accounts for the organization
- Develop engaging content that is relevant to the organization's target audience
- Design eye-catching posts using Canva
- Set up a calendar of posts to run once or twice a week
- Monitor social media accounts for comments and questions
- Respond to comments and questions in a timely and professional manner
- Track social media engagement and report on results
- Attend monthly Board Meetings via Zoom
- Assist with other marketing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience using Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to create engaging and visually appealing content
- Knowledge of Canva or other design software
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to the organization's mission
Time Commitment
2 hours per week
Board participation
Board meetings will be held monthly.. Committee work may require additional time commitments beyond the Board meetings.
Compensation
Service to Assist ME Board of Directors is without remuneration. The work for the board is considered a philanthropic endeavor.

Description
Assist ME takes in gently used medical equipment, such as standard manual wheelchairs, bedside commodes, tub transfer benches, shower chairs, etc. ), clean them up and gift them to low income, uninsured patients. When patients have this type of equipment, they fall less often and are readmitted to hospitals less often.
