Alzheimer's isn't waiting - and neither are we! This year, Help From Hattie will be participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(r) again to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's care, support and research. If you cant volunteer we hope you will support our efforts by making a donation on our fundraising page.
Every dollar you donate helps the Alzheimer's Association(r) provide care and support to those facing Alzheimer's and all other dementia, and advance critical research.
Why Join Us?
The mission of Help from Hattie is to not only provide hope for families in hardship but to deliver essential support to families facing difficult times. Last year, thanks to our amazing volunteers and generous donors, we met our 2023 goal of $5,000, and 100% of the donations went directly into our community. Here’s how we made a difference:
- Provided medical transportation to appointments
- Supplied home care essentials not covered by insurance
- Delivered 4 rolling walkers, 30 clothes covers, and 21 waterproof bedding sets
- Offered 134 hours of respite care, 6 salon appointments, 16 haircuts, and 42 fidget blankets
- Covered medication expenses for 19 families in Georgia
We hope you will stand with Help From Hattie in this fight. Together, we can support families challenged by Alzheimer's.
