Student Volunteers Sort Medical Supplies Bound for Nigeria

Project C.U.R.E.'s Internship Program provides high school students the opportunity to learn about
global healthcare and the non-profit sector while gaining hands-on experience. Interns develop
both professionally and personally as they contribute to Project C.U.R.E.'s mission: to identify,
solicit, collect, sort and deliver medical supplies and services according to the imperative needs of
the world.
Desired Qualifications
Project C.U.R.E. is seeking passionate students with the entrepreneurial spirit to take initiative and
actively pursue process improvement opportunities for the organization locally. Interns must be
professional, able to problem-solve independently and have strong leadership skills.

Project C.U.R.E. (Commission on Urgent Relief and Equipment) is the registered trademark of the Benevolent Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E. has provided millions of dollars of donated medical supplies and equipment to sick and dying people living in more than 138 developing countries. Project C.U.R.E. serves as a liaison between we who have so much and those who have too little. With its International Headquarters located in Centennial, Colorado, Project C.U.R.E. has major operations in Denver, Chicago, Houston, Kansas City, Nashville, Mid-Atlantic (Philadelphia) and Phoenix. Project C.U.R.E. ships millions of dollars in lifesaving medical supplies, sending an average of two to three semi-truck sized cargo containers each week to nearly every continent on the globe.

  • The Project C.U.R.E. Internship Program typically lasts a semester with a possibility to extend. This comprises of 50 total hours after school. Those receiving class-credit for internships may be required to work additional hours each week
