Looking for a way to engage your heart, mind and spirit? Consider becoming a Hospice Volunteer, with Kaiser Permanente Tri-Central Hospice Volunteer program. Kaiser honors the basic principle of Hospice care helping terminally ill patients balance the spirit of living, giving them as much comfort and peace as possible no matter how long or short their remaining time is. We provide physical, emotional, and spiritual comforts to increase the quality of life in this season with family and friends.
We're looking for volunteers to visit with patients to provide socialization and companionship. In addition to this, there are opportunities to provide caregiver relief. For someone caring for a hospice patient, their role is one that is around the clock. It is often invaluable to have a volunteer visit with the patient and allowing the caregiver time to practice self-care, step out to run errands, go to the grocery store, or even go to their own doctors appointment.
Your time, efforts, and generosity would greatly improve the quality of life for a hospice patient and their families. Please respond to this ad for more information or call 626.993.8162. We appreciate you!
