Volunteers and teaching assistants for this program are responsible for designing trifold brochures on the website Canva or making presentations on Google Drive or Canva. This is a great opportunity if you are familiar at designing slideshows, PowerPoints, or if you are experienced with Canva. Once your application is received, we will match you with a group of students. We provide volunteers and TA's with our document of K-12 financial literacy standards, sourced from the U.S. Council for Economic Education. This document will outline the specific information volunteers must include on their brochures/presentations. This activity is open year-round, so feel free to complete this as many times as you like!

Here are the requirements for the brochures you make:

1) The document must be 11 x 8.5 inch and separated into 3 equal panel sections

2) Information on the brochure must be sourced from our standards.

3) Make sure any materials created are submitted by the next 7 days through email at projectyouthfinlit@gmail.com

4) Make sure you include our PYFL logo on the main cover.

*All of these documents can be found on our GroupMe! Once you have applied, please make sure to download GroupMe and make an account so you can receive our volunteering opportunities, resources, and updates!

Volunteers and Teaching Assistants will receive service hours based on type of material made. For brochure making, you will receive 1 hour. For presentation making, you will receive 2 hours. Once you finish a volunteer opportunity, make sure to fill out the Logging Hours Form on our website so we can award you hours!
